Founder Profile
Dr Sean Lee is a governance-oriented organisational psychologist and strategic advisor whose work spans organisational consulting, workforce strategy, governance-informed advisory, and higher education.
Through his work at GACG, Dr Lee advises organisations on organisational effectiveness, workforce wellbeing, leadership development, and governance-informed workforce strategy through evidence-based psychological science and applied organisational practice.
Dr Lee has held teaching, research, and academic leadership appointments across institutions including Singapore Management University (SMU), James Cook University Singapore (JCU), and Newcastle Australia Institute of Higher Education (NAIHE), where he served as Head of Private Education Institute (PEI), Programme Coordinator, and Senior Lecturer, with formal service on Academic Board and Examinations Board responsible for academic governance, quality assurance, and institutional standards.
His broader governance and advisory involvement spans organisational wellbeing, workforce development, academic quality, community leadership, and cross-sector strategic initiatives, including advisory contributions within innovation and sustainability-focused contexts. Dr Lee currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Asian Journal of Social Psychology and is a Full Member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) and the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS).
His perspectives on organisational psychology, wellbeing, workforce-related issues, and behavioural science have also been featured in platforms including CNA938, The Straits Times, and the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP).
He is also actively involved in community resilience and psychosocial wellbeing initiatives, including grassroots mental wellbeing programmes and Psychological First Aid (PFA) awareness efforts relating to mental health literacy, emotional support, and community preparedness.
